5-17-2017 Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield misrepresents the number of physical therapy visits for which they will pay. Per a customer service rep and a supervisor at Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, Anthem subtracts physical therapy visits even though you paid for them while meeting your deductible.

So, for instance, with my plan I am allowed 20 physical therapy visits per calendar year. Let's say I go to 10 visits while meeting my deductible. Anthem will subtract those 10 visits from the 20 even though I paid fully for them.

It is true I imagine that the therapists will adjust the amount due to accommodate Anthem's required rates, and so I will receive that benefit. However, Anthem's policy of including visits fully paid for by the customer is terrible.

Review about: Anthem Blue Cross And Blue Shield Health Plan.

Reason of review: Not as described.

I didn't like: Misrepresents number physical therapy visits for which will pay.
