Every phone call is a diversion to not handle the issue. How can 17 of 20 visits from the same provider be in network, yet 3 claims, in the middle of the treatment - be out of network?
They blame the provider - they call you in the middle of the night claiming you have other insurance - they then go on for weeks in a bureaucratic nightmare "acting like they are following up" - when in reality, all they are doing is stalling and trying to find ways out of paying. Instead of fixing a very obvious error and just paying - they waste everyone's time - for hours and hours and days.
It is ridiculous. This is what happens when there are no "true" options in health insurance - we are all being had.
